As a building engineer, you will find creative solutions to reduce energy consumption, help combat global warming and improve quality of life. You ll create synergy between the thermal, structural, acoustic and energy systems of a building by applying the principles of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering. The Building Engineering program is the only one of its kind in Canada. In state-of-the-art labs designed for understanding building science, acoustics and lighting, engineering materials and solar energy, you ll get practical experience with the tools and equipment you will use in the field.
