Program Overview

After completing Western Engineering s Common First Year, you can enrol in the Green Process Engineering program. This program integrates the fundamental principles of chemical engineering to the design of commercial products and processes that are safe, economical and environmentally friendly. The program also explores alternative sources of energy with reduced carbon emissions. Some of the distinguishing features of the program include the emphasis on green chemistry, green power, solar and biofuel cells, and the conversion of waste such as agricultural by-products to biodiesel and bioethanol products.

Three distinct A-Level (or four distinct AS-Level) traditional academic subjects with grades of A and/or B, GCSE/IGCSE (O-Level) results, IB of 28 including points awarded for the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, TOEFL ibT of 83 with no score below 20, PTE of 58 no score less than 56, MELAB of 80 with no score less than 78, IELTS Academic of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAN Test of 4.0, CAEL of 60, Year Weighted Average (YWA) of at least 70%
