Program Overview

Classics or classical studies is the study of classical antiquity. It encompasses the study of the Greco-Roman world, particularly of its languages and literature (Ancient Greek and Classical Latin) but also of Greco-Roman philosophy, history, and archaeology.Study encompasses specifically a time-period of history from the mid-2nd millennium BC to the 6th century AD. The students have the opportunity to work with renowned scholars, discussing big ideas in small classes.

Three distinct A-Level (or four distinct AS-Level) traditional academic subjects with grades of A and/or B, GCSE/IGCSE (O-Level) results, IB of 28 including points awarded for the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, TOEFL ibT of 83 with no score below 20, PTE of 58 no score less than 56, MELAB of 80 with no score less than 78, IELTS Academic of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAN Test of 4.0, CAEL of 60, 70% in 3.0 principal courses, including Classical Studies 1000 and Greek or Latin 1000 plus 1.0 additional course, with no mark in these principal courses below 60%
