Latin American & Caribbean St : An interdisciplinary research seminar on topics of common interest to staff and students of the Latin-American and Caribbean Studies Program. History : The social, cultural, and economic aspects of Latin America and the Caribbean in the colonial period. Topics include: pre-Columbian and hispanic cultures in conflict, plantation empires, and the transition to independence. The sequel to this course is HIST 360.
