Indigenous Studies offers interdisciplinary perspectives on indigenous peoples from the Okanagan, Canada, and world communities. You ll examine topics such as Indigenous governance, the justice system, land claims, traditional ecological knowledge, the protection of heritage.

Final grade of 70% in Grade 11 or Grade 12 English (or equivalent course, including provincial examinations where applicable), Graduation from high school with a minimum average of 70%, UAE Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-Amma). Certificates must be official, Grades required for admission will vary by program, but based on the UAE grading scale, the minimum average needed to fall within the competitive range is approximately 84% on a 60% pass-scale, Test scores: IELTS of 6.5, with no part less than 6.0, TOEFL iBT of 90.
