The Women and Gender Studies program examines questions of gender in every field of study, focussing particularly on the perspectives of women and on feminist analyses. This focus, which crosses disciplinary lines, can be carried into many areas, such as Anthropology, Literature, Art, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, Religion and Sociology. The curriculum addresses the meaning and importance of gender in a variety of individual, institutional and transnational contexts.
