The University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), often known as U of T Mississauga, is one of three campuses that make up the University of Toronto's tri-campus system, with its main campus in Mississauga city, Ontario, Canada.

University of Toronto Mississauga History

The University of Toronto was founded in 1827 by royal charter as a successor of King's College; the university is Upper Canada's first institution of higher learning. Originally administered by the Church of England, the university was secularized in 1850 and given its current name. 

Previously known as Erindale College, the University of Toronto Mississauga campus opened in 1967.

University of Toronto Mississauga sports and fitness

   For sports and fitness, UTM provides a Recreation, Athletics, and Wellness Center. The RAWC's Fitness Centre is located on floor 2. It offers views of the South Field, the UTM Pool, and the Fitness Centre's running track. There are new strength and cardio facilities with Hammer strength and other brands of equipment. The Running Track is a three-lane, nearly 200-meter track located on the level above the Fitness Centre.
