The Professional Kinesiology module specifically addresses the knowledge requirements of a registered Kinesiologist, focusing on core elements of the profession the principles of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology and psychomotor behaviour to improve health; the promotion of physical activity and workplace health and safety; the prevention and management of injury, chronic disease and disability; and the overall improvement of health and performance. Through this curriculum, students will be well prepared for a dynamic career in Kinesiology, and for those who choose to do so after graduation, to write the Ontario provincial Kinesiology certification examination. This is a limited enrolment module with 30 spaces available each year.
Three distinct A-Level (or four distinct AS-Level) traditional academic subjects with grades of A and/or B, GCSE/IGCSE (O-Level) results, IB of 28 including points awarded for the Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge, TOEFL ibT of 83 with no score below 20, PTE of 58 no score less than 56, MELAB of 80 with no score less than 78, IELTS Academic of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0, CAN Test of 4.0, CAEL of 60, a cumulative average of 65% with no fails
