Program Overview

The Department of Pathology and Laboratoy Medicine offers Undergraduate Pathology courses and training to medical students, dental students, nursing students, and undergraduate students in the basic medical sciences, science and health sciences. Modules leading to an honors specialization in Pathology and Toxicology or Major in Pathology are offered through the BMSc program. Pathology and Laboratory Medicine can be considered the basis of modern scientific medical knowledge and plays a critical role in evidence-based medicine. This major allows you to understand the causes and mechanisms of human disease, as well as how they are investigated in the laboratory.
