Program Overview

Science is everywhere. A general science degree will build your foundation in science, mathematics and technology so you can better understand the field and prepare for your future.Choose from a range of courses to attain a general science education. Complete two of the following six concentrations to earn your degree:Biology:Learn about the science of life in one of three areas: anatomy and physiology, cellular and molecular biology, or ecology and evolution.Chemistry:Get a mix of classroom and practical laboratory instruction with a focus on organic chemistry, biochemistry or the study of molecular structures.Geography:Take courses in either physical geography and conservation, or mapping and geographic information systems (GIS).Geology:Explore different aspects of geology through courses in physical geology, paleontology, hydrogeology and others.Mathematics:Build the tools you will need to understand the mathematical basis of all sciences. Take courses in algebra, calculus, modelling and statistics.Physics:Study mechanics, waves and optics, and quantum mechanics.
