Biochemistry is the study of the chemical processes occurring in living matter, a discipline which encompasses an incredibly diverse field of research that touches nearly all aspects of our lives. Biochemists are working in areas as diverse environmental degradation, forensics, disease research, and archaeology.
Final grade of 70% in Grade 11 or Grade 12 English (or equivalent course, including provincial examinations where applicable), Graduation from high school with a minimum average of 70%, UAE Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Shahadat Al-Thanawiya Al-Amma). Certificates must be official, Grades required for admission will vary by program, but based on the UAE grading scale, the minimum average needed to fall within the competitive range is approximately 84% on a 60% pass-scale, Test scores: IELTS of 6.5, with no part less than 6.0, TOEFL iBT of 90.
