The Criminology, Law and Society Specialist is intended for students who wish to go on to graduate studies in this or a similar area. The Major provides a broad foundation for students who may have an academic or civic interest in law, crime and criminal justice. This might include: students who at a later stage may wish to pursue more advanced work in areas related to, for example, criminology, law or social work; students wanting to know more about the topics of the sociology of crime, particularly as these become issues of public policy.
