Economic policies to remedy those failures are also examined. In the Department of Management, the study of Economics is oriented primarily to the needs of students interested in management studies. Therefore, many of our examples will focus on the ways in which firms and consumers in market economies interact.This Program is designed to give a coordinated exposure to the subject matter of Economics for Management Studies to students pursuing the four-year degree with more than a single area of concentration.
