The Degree in English Linguistics and Literature provides systematic training regarding basic concepts,theories,practices and fundamental methods of linguistics and literature,as well as regarding the English language and disciplinary content in this language,aiming at the training of graduates with an advanced command of the English language in its oral and written modes,with special preparation in the use of the language in academic contexts.At the same time,graduates are trained to appropriate the theoretical and terminological knowledge necessary to describe the English language from different analytical perspectives and for various purposes.
