The University of Chile also known as Universidad de Chile is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Santiago, Chile. It was established in the year 1842 as a continuation to the Royal University of San Felipe which dates back to 1738. The university is well-known for its academic, social, and scientific outreach.
