Did you know that Chile has the best skies in the southern hemisphere to practice astronomy That is why some of the most modern astronomical observatories in the world are installed in the north of our country. There,astronomers study the light emitted by the different celestial bodies of the universe - with the help of telescopes and other sophisticated instruments - in order to analyze what they are made of,how they move,and when galaxies,stars,and planets,among others,were born. The path to be an astronomer begins at the FCFM,when you obtain a degree in Physics or Astronomy,and then continue with postgraduate studies in Astronomy,which will allow you to work in one of these spectacular observatories,research centers,or universities. To be an astronomer it is important to be a good observer,
