Program Overview

The purpose of this career is to train a professional in Environmental Sciences,with a solid basic training in natural and exact sciences,particularly in ecology,and a complement in social sciences,humanities and economics,to familiarize him with environmental institutions. The program includes areas of specialization in: biological conservation,effects of pollutants on biological systems,and management of aquatic resources.The training of this professional will allow him to meet requirements of a biological,chemical,physical or mathematical nature,and of a technological nature,in the application or innovation of methodologies for the conservation of natural resources and the environment. They can work in the productive-technological sector in the provision of services and consultancies,as well as participate in multidisciplinary teams capable of addressing environmental problems and proposing their solutions. This career allows the continuity of studies,for the degrees of Master and Doctor.
