Those who study geology (at the FCFM) have the necessary knowledge to explore and detect mineral,water and energy resources,while being able to evaluate and provide solutions to problems of geological risks (earthquakes and volcanic eruptions,for example),environmental and civil works. If you like science in direct contact with nature,and also contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the community,your path is on the geology route.
