The Chemical Technology program since its creation in the year 1958 has sought to formulate a curriculum that guarantees that students acquire attitudes abilities and skills that train them comprehensively to perform satisfactorily in areas of quality control of raw materials and finished products in qualitative and quantitative analysis among others and its impact in the region has been notable in that the regional industry in the southwest of Colombia has been largely supported by the work and contribution of its graduatesLikewise it is evident a large percentage of graduates who due to their solid academic training continue at the University advancing their professional programs in Chemistry Chemical Engineering Materials and Food Engineering.
