Program Overview

The Forestry study program, specializing in Tropical and Subtropical Forestry, is based on a comprehensive concept of forestry, i.e. knowledge of the basic components of forest ecosystems: forestry geology, pedology, dendrology, botany, zoology or entomology. These are then used in synthetic forestry disciplines: forest ecology, forestry typology and related disciplines: forest protection, cultivation and establishment of forests. You will learn to apply the basic methods of Central European forestry - preservation of long-term and permanent forest production - in tropical and subtropical conditions.
