3 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Palacky University

Program Overview

The core of the study is subjects focused on the theory and history of television and radio. These media are understood as a source of art, popular entertainment, and as distinct industrial fields, all with highly variable forms of viewership and fandom. In the program, students will learn how to analyze and examine television and radio production from an institutional and dramaturgical point of view, i.e. how to critically grasp television and radio fiction and documentary work as products created in a diverse cultural, media and social environment. In the concept of the program, emphasis is also placed on issues of television and radio genres, internationally traded formats, but also the issue of connecting television and the web or the area of Internet piracy.
