Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the study field Choir Mastership with a focus on education is to equip the student with a set of basic theoretical knowledge and practical conducting skills in professional disciplines, especially in clocking techniques, in the analysis of choral scores in terms of its interpretative interpretation and in instrumental activities. The priorities of the field are also the development of analytical abilities of musical hearing, in voice training, in quick reading training and in piano interpretation of choral scores.

The aim is to provide system of basic theoretical knowledge and practical conducting skills. The main subjects are: conducting technique, playing of vocal scores, vocal education in choir, aural analysis, history of choral singing, literature for all kinds of choirs. Graduates should be prepared for getting a job in educational institutions for musical activities of children, in cultural institutions, museums etc. They are not prepared for independent activity of conductor. For fully qualification of choral conductor it is necessary to continue in Master program.
