Program Overview

The Bachelor's degree in Harpsichord is intended for graduates of conservatories and other professional schools where the instrument is taught, as well as for talented musicians interested in professional interpretation. In addition to practical individual lessons with an instrument teacher, you will have the opportunity to become a member of various ensembles composed of students from our faculty. You will form a chamber group and participate in concerts and other musical productions. Of course, the teaching is supplemented with musical theoretical subjects, which will enable you to better orient yourself in the current trends in the interpretation of music from different periods. Workshops, which our faculty organizes regularly, are part of the study, and students are an integral part of them. These workshops are led by eminent personalities who pass on their work experience to our students. You can participate in these events as a passive listener or as an active player. The main focus is the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the field of interpretation of early music. Under the guidance of pedagogues and professional musicians, you will get the information you need to authentically interpret both pieces for solo harpsichord and playing the bass.
