The aim of the bachelor study program Informatics is to educate graduates educated in two areas. First, in applied informatics, ie especially in the ability to actively algorithmize and program real problems, which allows to go into practice immediately after completion of bachelor's degree. Furthermore, in theoretical computer science (including a relatively large mathematical apparatus), which allows further follow-up studies at the Master's and later possibly doctoral level. Coverage of both mentioned areas corresponds to the position of informatics between technical and natural sciences.
A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
