Program Overview

The study program provides bachelor education preparing graduates especially for the follow-up Master's degree in the study program Mathematics for Secondary Schools. The program is based on key mathematical disciplines, especially mathematical analysis, algebra and geometry, in relation to school mathematics, their history, didactics of mathematics and pedagogy. In some subjects, a didactic transformation of mathematical content is performed; With regard to school practice, different ways of introducing key concepts and deriving additional characteristics are compared.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
