Program Overview

In the three-year bachelor study program Czech Language and Literature with a focus on education, we educate bohemists with a thorough knowledge of contemporary Czech - its system and use in communication. The literary component of the study is focused on educating an informed reader and literature interpreter. The priority of the bachelor's degree graduates is the follow-up two-year Master's degree program Teacher Training for Secondary Schools.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
