Program Overview

A graduate of the Bachelor's degree in German with a focus on education, he has extensive knowledge of the various disciplines of linguistic German studies, the history of German literature as part of the history of world literature, the history of German-speaking countries in the European and world context, and the realities of German-speaking countries, including relations with Czech countries. . In didactically oriented courses, students are introduced to the basic linguistic-didactic terminology and theory and are guided to reflect these findings in the context of didactics of German as a foreign language in the Czech school environment.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
