Program Overview

Learning outcomes of the course unit The study provides the basics of philological education with a focus on education issues, the study develops both theoretical philological knowledge of Russian studies, including linguistic, literary and didactic disciplines, as well as practical communication skills of students. The primary objective of the bachelor's degree program is to create the foundations for a follow-up master's study that prepares Russian language teachers for all types of schools. Linguistic disciplines provide theoretical knowledge of the language system in a confrontational Czech-Russian perspective.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
