Program Overview

English for professional and professional communication prepares professionals who are able to communicate in English in different professional contexts and in different types of institutions. You will learn how advanced knowledge of English can be used in the business field. This study program combines the study of a language with professional and professional involvement. You can also gain acting experience in an English theater as part of a theater group at our department. In the first year, you will immerse yourself in the study of grammar and the sound system of English, get to know the culture, literature and realities of Great Britain and the USA, and learn the basics of translation. In the profile course English in professional communication 1 - 4, you will focus on the active use of business English, with an emphasis on the correct use of professional terminology. In the seminars, you will work with model situations and authentic texts, which clarify and illustrate basic economic concepts
