Program Overview

The study program provides students to gain knowledge and acquire skills in geoinformatics, spatial technologies and geovisualization. Students learn the fundamental topics of goeinformation science and technolgies, mainly approaches to a digital representation of reality and practices with main geoinformation technologies (GIS, remote sensing, GPS, spatial statistics, digital cartography, etc.), programming for GIS, map compilation and applications in geosciences. In geovisualization, the emphasis is given on production of thematic maps within GIS and DTP.
