The study of Surface and Groundwater gives students the opportunity to acquire education and practical skills in research, protection and management of surface and groundwater. Hydrology is a strategic science discipline with extraordinary social significance - comprehensive knowledge of the hydrosphere is essential for understanding the patterns of the occurrence and circulation of water on the Earth, its use and protection, and the management of risks associated with extreme forms of its action. In addition, the study program Surface and Ground Water is unique in the Czech Republic by linking the surface and underground components of the aquatic environment and has an interdisciplinary character with links to other natural sciences.
A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
