Program Overview

The Environmental Risks and Climate Change study program is an interdisciplinary study program including current topics in geosciences. The study program is focused on the correct interpretation and understanding of the mechanisms of environmental and climate changes and on mutual interactions of natural phenomena and systems in the subsurface spheres of the Earth and anthropogenic activities. A multidisciplinary approach based on geoscience disciplines (e.g. physical geography, geology, atmospheric physics, hydrology and oceanography) and material sciences (chemistry, geochemistry and hydrochemistry) is significantly emphasized.
