Program Overview

The graduate of the Geology combined degree acquires broad essentials in geosciences. It allows you to work in multidisciplinary research and practice using a wide range of geological data combined with a second subject area. The bachelor grade is able to evaluate and interpret the basic geoscientific data, and is prepared to work on the basic level in the field and laboratory. The graduates of the double-subject bachelor program of Classical Archeology dispose of general knowledge of art and material culture of Classical Antiquity, as well as elementary excavation skills. They are able to participate in archaeological excavations, communicate in one of the main world languages and use passively one classical language.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
