Bachelors in geology oriented at education in Charles university

Graduates will acquire basic professional knowledge of geological disciplines and an overview of geological education. The subjects are selected to meet the needs of secondary school teachers to cover the whole range of geology, including field and laboratory work and regional aspects of geology. The study is focused mainly on the preparation for the follow-up study of the Master's program Geology in the fields of study Teaching Geology for Secondary Schools. Graduates who will not continue in the follow-up Master's degree program will be provided with a bachelor's degree that is suitable for various educational institutions, publishers, media, etc.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
