The study program reflects the development of multidisciplinary and border fields and the growing importance of environmental education in primary and secondary education. The study is focused on learning the basic properties of individual components of the environment with an emphasis on abiotic components. Attention is paid to knowledge about the composition of the lithosphere, its structure and historical development. An important part of the study is the mutual interaction of individual components and their relationship to the biosphere, but the emphasis is placed on the inorganic component of the environment (pedosphere, groundwater, hydrogeology, soil pollution, etc.).
