Program Overview

"The advantage of the specialization Landscape protection and creation is that you will learn how living and non-living parts of nature work and how humans interfere with the landscape through their activities. Then you will be able to connect this knowledge in practice. We will teach you, for example, what ""wilderness"" is in the city and why it is important to preserve it there, or why some human activities lead to the destruction of parts of the landscape, and how to prevent it. You will find out what tools the Czech Republic has at its disposal to preserve our beautiful nature. In addition to the high-quality theoretical foundations needed to understand the functioning of the landscape, you will acquire a number of practical skills during your studies. We have state-of-the-art mapping technologies, such as drones with multispectral cameras, water body bottom scanners, flow measurement sonar, geodetic total stations and GNSS receivers."
