Undergraduate students of Dutch language and literature have a solid knowledge of the Dutch language (corresponding to B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). They are familiar with literature, culture, life and history of the Dutch-speaking area and have basic general theoretical knowledge of the field. They can further develop these competences in the follow-up Master's degree at Czech or foreign universities and apply in practice. The graduate can work as an assistant in a wide range of cultural and political life. Knowledge of the culture on which the emphasis is put will enable it to be used in cultural institutions or the media. He will find further possibilities of application in tourism, in the economic and business sphere and will also have the basis for translation activities.
A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
