Program Overview

Practical Dutch Philology is a recently accredited independent program that responds to the demands of the labor market. The subjects of the theoretical basis and the profile basis are identical to the subjects in the major/minor study program and guarantee students the opportunity to reach the B2 SERR language level (excellent communication level) within three years of study. A separate program greatly expands the range of study subjects according to the requirements of the labor market - the emphasis is placed on theoretical and practical knowledge of the Dutch language, including translation and interpretation, knowledge of economic geography and orientation in the realities of the given language area. After the second year of study, it is possible to complete a three-month internship in the Netherlands or in Flanders as part of the studies.
