Bachelors in Vietnamese Philology

Vietnamese studies is a perspective field of science with unquestionable importance. An essential part of this study program is an intensive language course, which will enable the graduate to do independent creative and communicative work and further develop the acquired knowledge. Due to the nature of Vietnamese, in addition to grammar and practical exercises, emphasis is also placed on the phonetic side of the language and other phenomena (addressing issues, levels of politeness, etc.). The philological framework of the study will provide students with a basic insight into the linguistic, literary and cultural anthropological realities of Vietnam, which are a necessary prerequisite for further field research, but will also enable effective work with the community (e.g. interpreting, counseling, social services, etc.).
