Program Overview

The bachelor's degree program forms and deepens in the form of lectures and seminars, mostly in French language, in the field of French studies, both in linguistic and literary disciplines, as well as in cultural anthropology and francophony. The study of bachelor's degree in social sciences with a focus on education is designed primarily as a study whose graduates will continue in the follow-up master's study of the foundations of social sciences. The aim of the program is to provide the graduate with a broad general education in the field of social sciences and to cultivate the ability of practical application in the profession. The difference of this type of program from other socio-scientific bachelor studies is the emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach to the analysis and solution of social phenomena.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
