Bachelors in French Philology

The study takes place simultaneously in the field of linguistics and literary studies with a systematic deepening of knowledge of practical language and the history and realities of French-speaking countries. In the field of literary studies, students are introduced to basic literary terms that are used to analyze literary works, and to the development of French literature from the 19th century to the present day. In the field of linguistics, students deepen their theoretical knowledge of all language plans and become familiar with basic linguistic terms. In practical seminars, students unify their language level in the area of grammatical structures, lexicon and speaking competence, and at the same time develop language competence in optional specialized courses led by native lecturers or experts in the field of interpretation and translation.
