Program Overview

The graduate has a good knowledge of the basics of Italian linguistics, the history of Italian literature, culture and history of Italy. He masters Italian at C1 level according to CEFR and has a basic knowledge of two other foreign languages. The graduate has the prerequisites for a follow-up master study. A broader perspective in the humanities creates conditions for the graduate's professional flexibility. He is employed in a wide range of work, for example as an editor, translator, language assistant in the media, assistant in business firms, non-profit organizations, congress agencies, tourism, foreign ministry and European Union structures.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
