The graduate is ready to make commercial translations (both literary and non-literary) from Russian into the mother tongue (and vice versa) for the needs of state and private entities. The graduate acquires professional qualifications in state institutions developing foreign policy and other special-interest and field-specific activities in the region of Eastern Europe, in the field of monitoring of Russian media (analyst of state institutions and organizations operating in the tertiary sphere), in the field of mass-communication means as a specialist to Russia, respectively.

Additional Information & Requirements

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
