Bachelors in Spanish Philology

The study takes place simultaneously in the field of linguistics and literary studies. In the field of literary studies, students are introduced to basic literary terms used to analyze literary works, and to the development of Spanish and Hispanic American literature from the beginning to the present, with an emphasis on the literature of the 20th century in the context of wider modern culture and its forms (film, theater, etc. ). In the field of linguistics, students deepen their theoretical knowledge of all language plans and become familiar with basic linguistic terms. In practical seminars, students will reach language level B2. The study is supplemented by subjects focused on the history of Spanish-speaking countries.
