Program Overview

The bachelor's degree program forms and deepens in the form of lectures and seminars, mostly in French language, in the field of French studies, both in linguistic and literary disciplines, as well as in cultural anthropology and francophony. Emphasis is placed on mastering language competences at B2-C1 level, and also on linking theoretical knowledge to their practical application and to communication in language. These skills are based on a rational understanding of morphological-syntactic structure, phonetic system, lexic character and developmental patterns of French. Further, the study of the French language and literature at the bachelor's level set the goal of developing the student's intellectual and formulation skills in French written and oral expression, which will also have a positive impact on his or her mother tongue competence.
