Program Overview

Education in Geography is a three-year undergraduate degree in geography. There are four main groups of geographical fields - physical, social and regional geography and cartography with geoinformatics and also a group of didactically and pedagogically oriented subjects. Part of the study is field teaching and teaching practice. The graduate acquires basic knowledge of geography and its sub-disciplines (physical, social and regional geography, cartography and geoinformatics) as well as elementary knowledge of pedagogy and psychology and conceptual knowledge of the Czech education system.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
