Do you want to become a historian A bachelor's degree in history at the University of Ostrava will provide you with extensive knowledge of Czech and general history from prehistoric times to the present, practical skills in modern methods of historical work, in sorting and searching for information and working with historical sources, and especially the ability to see the contemporary world in historical contexts. The study of history is one of the traditional staples at the Faculty of Arts. During the course of your studies, you will meet leading personalities of historical science in our country, whose faces you will often see on TV screens (e.g. Professor Nina Pavel kov or Associate Professor Robert Anton n).
