Program Overview

The aim of the study is to provide graduates with theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed for work in addictology services in the areas of prevention, pre-treatment, treatment and aftercare. They acquire the knowledge and competence of a worker connecting health and social care, with knowledge of the legal context of the issue. Within the meaning of the second sentence of Article 3 (1) of the Rules of Admission Procedure for Charles University Applicants, this is a study program without specialization.

Additional Information & Requirements

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
