Occupational therapy is a medical discipline that uses specific diagnostic and treatment methods and procedures, or activities in the functional diagnosis and therapy of individuals of all ages, with different types of disabilities who have temporary or permanent disability of physical, mental, sensory or mental functions. With the development of occupational therapy, this field is also applied in the social, employment, educational and minority ethnic fields. The term employment is meant to mean any meaningful activity for man, but it must be targeted individually for each individual. The perspective of employment, that is, the perspective of meaningful activities, is essential for the development of the quality of human life.
