Program Overview

Logic is a theoretical program in which mathematical methods are applied and applicable in mathematics, theoretical computer science, and specific areas of philosophy. Furthermore, logic is mainly related to linguistics or to legal science, but its graduates are employed in a number of other disciplines if they need to create concepts, work with causality and consequence, or use quantitative methods. A logic graduate is ready to continue studying logic or related programs in a follow-up Master's degree and doctoral studies if he / she decides to pursue an academic career. But it will also work well outside academia wherever systematic thinking is needed, where formalized texts such as computer programs or draft rules and laws are designed and data structures are designed.

A completed secondary education before entering the first year of a Bachelor s , a notarised copy of your secondary school leaving certificate or your Bachelor s diploma, an official transcript of records from your previous university studies, an official translation of the two above into Czech (translation is not required if the original documents were issued in English), a certificate of equivalence from Czech educational authorities which states that your certificate/diploma is recognised in the Czech Republic (called nostrification ), if you completed your previous education abroad, TOEFL ibT of 80, IELTS of 6.5, SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, ACT English and Reading 24, IB English 6, Melab 77, TOEIC 605
